Daily Devote Yourself to God!

~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

FEBRUARY 28
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Joshua 4-6

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’ then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’; for the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever.”” (Joshua 4:21-24)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Awesome God (Psalm 47:2)! With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how the people of Israel cross the River of Jordan on dry land, and twelve memorial stones were taken from the Jordan River as the people of Israel crossed the river, the people of Israel performed circumcision as commanded by God, and they observed the Passover at Gilgal, and we also read about the fall of Jericho. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd (John 10:14), and the Lord Jesus is the Chief Commander of God’s Army (Matthew 25:31-32). Jesus rightly receives worship, because Jesus is the Son of God, and Jesus is also God (John 1:1, John 1:14, and John 3:16-17). Jesus is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords (1 Corinthians 15:57, 1 Timothy 6:14-16, and Revelations 19:16). If you are not yet saved by God, you can make the choice today to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you will be saved by God (John 3:16-17). The guidance that God gives to us stands forever (Psalm 33:11). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding! Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

JESUS SAID;
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.” (John 10:14)

FEBRUARY 27
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Joshua 1-3

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8-9)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18), and God is the Greatest Giver (John 3:16-17). God is the giver of good success (Joshua 1:8), and God is always with His people (Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:18-20, and John 14:15-17). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how God commanded Joshua to cross the Jordan River with the people of Israel to possess the Promised Land, how Rahab hid the spies, and the people of Israel crossed the Jordan River on dry ground. As believers in God, it is always good to know that good success is found with God (Joshua 1:8). Through the Lord Jesus Christ, we have eternal life (John 3:16-17), and we also have eternal wealth (Matthew 6:19-21 and Matthew 19:21). There is no other option that is better than the salvation that God is offering to all people through our Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17 and John 14:6). If you are not yet saved, you can make the choice today to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you will be saved and blessed by God forevermore. Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (Mark 10:29-30)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:15-17)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:5-7)

FEBRUARY 26
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 31-34

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.” (Deuteronomy 32:3-4)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is Our Rock of Salvation (2 Samuel 22:47, Psalm 18:2, Psalm 62:7, and Psalm 95:1). Our God is the true God (Isaiah 43:11-12). Our God sees and knows the future ahead of time (Isaiah 43:8). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how Joshua became the new leader of Israel after Moses, the commandments and the instructions that God provided to the people of Israel, the song of Moses, the blessings of Moses to the people of Israel, and about how Moses passed away after living for one hundred and twenty years. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that, our God gives us the Rock that never fails (Matthew 7:24-27, Luke 6:47-49, and Acts 4:11). And, it is always good to give glory, praise, and honor to God (Psalm 29:1-2, Psalm 48:1, and Luke 2:14). Through the Lord Jesus Christ, we obtain the eternal salvation of God that has been made available to all people (Psalm 3:8 and John 3:16-17). Truly, without a doubt, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Thank God for His faithfulness! Thank God for all His blessings in our lives! Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)

JESUS SAID;
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;

JESUS SAID;
“If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” (John 13:17)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

FEBRUARY 25
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 28-30

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deuteronomy 29:29)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Ultimate Planner, Designer, and Creator (Genesis 1:1). Our obedience to God is our gift to God, because it shows that we have faith in God (Mark 11:22). God always blesses all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 111:10 and Psalm 128:1), and the people who choose not to obey God, according to the Bible, those people normally go astray (Proverbs 10:17). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the consequences of obedience and disobedience to God, the promises that God made with the people of Israel, and about the blessings of returning to God in obedience. As believers in God, it is always good to make the choice to love God, and to always remain faithful to God. It is always best to seek God, to obey God, and to keep the commandments of God. The word of God is true, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.” (Mark 13:31-33)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)

“So you shall rejoice in every good thing which the LORD your God has given to you and your house, you and the Levite and the stranger who is among you.” (Deuteronomy 26:11)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the faithful God (Deuteronomy 7:9), who always keeps His covenant and His promises (Psalm 25:10). God blesses all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 111:10 and Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the various laws of social responsibility, the offerings of firstfruits and tithes, and about the blessings and the curses. As believers in God, it is always good to give thanks to God (Psalm 52:9 and Psalm 92:1-2), and to praise God for all His blessings in our lives (Psalm 73:28 and Psalm 147:1). It is good to rejoice with God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), and to offer our thanks to God (Psalm 50:14). God is good (Psalm 34:8), and God has blessed His people with various kinds of blessings including salvation (Psalm 68:19). Our God is the greatest and best judge (Isaiah 45:21), who always rewards everyone accordingly. God is always faithful to fulfill all His promises (Psalm 25:10).
