JESUS LOVES YOU TODAY! AMEN! DAILY DEVOTE YOURSELF TO GOD! AMEN!
~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Leviticus 18-20
VERSE OF THE DAY:
“And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.’”” (Leviticus 19:1-2)
REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is holy (Psalm 99:9), God wants all His people to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16), and God has made the provision available for all His people to be holy as well (John 3:16-17). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about God’s requirements for morality, God’s Moral and Ceremonial Laws, and about God’s judgments and penalties for those who break His Laws. As believers in God, it is always important to note that Love is central to all the Laws of God (Matthew 22:37-40), and by the grace of God, we can do all things, including fulfilling God’s laws and requirements, by the strength that the Lord Jesus Christ provides to us (Philippians 4:13). Thank God for His love, grace, and mercy in our lives! Amen.
WORDS OF JESUS:
“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
