Daily Devote Yourself to God!

~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

MARCH 6
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Joshua 22-24

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Joshua 22:5)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18), and God is always faithful (Deuteronomy 7:9 and Psalm 25:10). The greatest commandments are to love God, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the Altar by the Jordan River, called the Altar of Witness, Joshua’s final words to the people of Israel, after living for one hundred and ten years (Joshua 24:29), and the covenant that was established at Shechem between the various tribes of Israel. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind, that God is love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18), and God is always faithful to fulfill all His promises (Psalm 25:10), and to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). As illustrated in today’s study of the Bible, Joshua effectively preached on the importance of serving God faithfully and sincerely (Joshua 24:14-15). By the grace of God, as believers in God, it is always best for us to make this important choice and determination, to always love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). And, by the grace of God, be blessed by God forevermore in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
