~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

APRIL 5
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Kings 21-22

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Jehoshaphat the son of Asa had become king over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. And he walked in all the ways of his father Asa. He did not turn aside from them, doing what was right in the eyes of the LORD. Nevertheless the high places were not taken away, for the people offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places. Also Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.” (1 Kings 22:41-44)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the God of justice (Isaiah 45:21). Our God is the merciful God (Psalm 103:8). Our God does not tolerate sin (Isaiah 59:2), but God does choose to have mercy on those who repent from their sins during His grace period (Joel 2:12-13 and John 3:16-18). Our God provides justice, correction, and judgment for all peoples and all nations (Psalm 67:3-4, Psalm 94:10, Psalm 105:7, Jeremiah 10:7, and Jeremiah 18:7-10). Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and our God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the kingdom reigns of King Ahab and King Jehoshaphat, Prophet Elijah’s prophecy to King Ahab, and how Prophet Micaiah provided the true prophecy. As believers in God, it is always best for us to seek God’s counsel (Psalm 33:11), and to live a faithful and holy life with God (Matthew 5:8 and Mark 11:22). Thank God for all His blessings in our lives (Psalm 50:14). Amen. Give glory to the Most High God in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of the LORD and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he wanted to do, that the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as He had appeared to him at Gibeon. And the LORD said to him: “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”” (1 Kings 9:1-3)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the faithful and covenant keeping God (Psalm 25:10). Our God is the eternal and glorious King (1 Timothy 1:17). Our God is the omniscient and omnipresent God (1 Kings 9:3). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how the Ark of God was brought into the Temple of God, God’s promise to King Solomon, and about King Solomon’s wealth and fame. We also read about how King Solomon blessed the people of Israel (1 Kings 8:54-58), and about Queen Sheba’s testimony of King Solomon (1 Kings 10:6-9). As believers in God, it is always good for us to seek the wisdom and counsel of God (Proverbs 8:33 and Proverbs 9:10). In addition, it is always good for us to serve God faithfully (Mark 11:22). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Amen. If you are not yet saved by God, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved by God (John 3:16-17). Amen. May God bless you today, everyday, and forevermore in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)

JESUS SAID;
“If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” (John 13:17)

MARCH 30
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Kings 1-3

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.”” (1 Kings 3:11-13)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the God of love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). Our God is the God of wisdom (James 1:5). Our God is the greatest giver (Matthew 7:7-8). The whole Earth belongs to God (Psalm 24:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how Solomon was established as the King of Israel after King David, King David’s instructions to Solomon, how King Solomon asked God for wisdom, and how King Solomon ruled in justice with the wisdom of God. As believers in God, it is always important for us to seek counsel from God (Psalm 33:11). And, it is always good for us to serve God faithfully, and to love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds (Mark 11:22 and Matthew 22:37-40). God loves all people, and God wants to save all the people of the world that will come to Him for eternal salvation (John 3:16-17). If you are not yet saved by God, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved by God. Amen. May God bless you today, everyday, and forevermore in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26)

JANUARY 13
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Genesis 41-43

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”” (Genesis 41:37-41)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit! Thank God for His wisdom! Thank God for His protection in our lives! Thank God for the shield of faith! Our God is so awesome, wonderful, marvelous, and amazing! In today’s study of the Bible, we witness clearly, how God was with Joseph in the land of Egypt, regardless of the misfortunes that he initially suffered. God was faithful to promote and to raise Joseph up at the appointed time, and the dreams and the prophecies that God gave to Joseph were getting fulfilled. Today, in the same manner, God’s grace is being extended to all people who will make the choice to trust in Him for salvation.

Holy Spirit - Comforter, Convicter, Counselor

JANUARY 12
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Genesis 38-40

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.” (Genesis 39:2-4)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is a God of providence, and God is always faithful with His people. The truths of the Bible confirm and prove it so many times that, God is always faithful to fulfill His promises and covenant with His people (Psalm 25:10). And, it is also very important to keep in mind that our God is sovereign to intervene on behalf of His people. That is, God is able to intercede for His people whenever He sees it fit for Him to do so (Psalm 5:12). The sovereign grace of God is a wonderful gift that God provides to His people. And, it is a blessing to know that God is always there to protect us from harm, and to help guide our destiny to the intended purpose.

Jesus Is The True Vine

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:1-4)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
