JESUS LOVES YOU TODAY! AMEN! DAILY DEVOTE YOURSELF TO GOD! AMEN!
~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Kings 21-22
VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Jehoshaphat the son of Asa had become king over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. And he walked in all the ways of his father Asa. He did not turn aside from them, doing what was right in the eyes of the LORD. Nevertheless the high places were not taken away, for the people offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places. Also Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.” (1 Kings 22:41-44)
REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the God of justice (Isaiah 45:21). Our God is the merciful God (Psalm 103:8). Our God does not tolerate sin (Isaiah 59:2), but God does choose to have mercy on those who repent from their sins during His grace period (Joel 2:12-13 and John 3:16-18). Our God provides justice, correction, and judgment for all peoples and all nations (Psalm 67:3-4, Psalm 94:10, Psalm 105:7, Jeremiah 10:7, and Jeremiah 18:7-10). Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and our God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the kingdom reigns of King Ahab and King Jehoshaphat, Prophet Elijah’s prophecy to King Ahab, and how Prophet Micaiah provided the true prophecy. As believers in God, it is always best for us to seek God’s counsel (Psalm 33:11), and to live a faithful and holy life with God (Matthew 5:8 and Mark 11:22). Thank God for all His blessings in our lives (Psalm 50:14). Amen. Give glory to the Most High God in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
