MAY 14
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Job 1-3

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.” In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.” (Job 1:20-22)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Faithful and Covenant Keeping God (Psalm 25:10). Our God is Our Shield and Deliverer (Psalm 18:2). Our God is the Great God, the Mighty God, the God of gods, and the Lord of Lords (Deuteronomy 10:17). Our God is the God of Wisdom (James 1:5). Our God is the God of Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). Our God is the Holy God (Psalm 99:9). Our God is the God of Justice (Isaiah 45:21). Our God is the God of Peace (Hebrews 13:20-21). Amen. In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the wealth and faithfulness of Job, a man of God from the land of Uz, who went through many trials and tribulations, the conversations between God and Satan, Satan attacked Job’s health, and three of Job’s friends came to visit Job, namely, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, and we also read about how Job regretted his birth because of his sufferings. As believers in God, it is always important for us to keep in mind that, our God is the faithful and covenant keeping God (Psalm 25:10). It is good for believers in God to endure temptation (James 1:12), and to understand that every trial that God allows in our lives, works together for our good (Romans 8:28). In addition, while in trial, it is always best and important for us to pray consistently to God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), and to speak out the promises of God (Luke 10:19-20). Amen. God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). Amen. God loves all people, and God wants to save all the people of the world that will come to Him for eternal salvation (John 3:16-17). If you are not yet saved by God, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved by God. Amen. Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (Psalm 111:10). Amen. May God bless you always in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Esther 8-10

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then Queen Esther, the daughter of Abihail, with Mordecai the Jew, wrote with full authority to confirm this second letter about Purim. And Mordecai sent letters to all the Jews, to the one hundred and twenty-seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth, to confirm these days of Purim at their appointed time, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had prescribed for them, and as they had decreed for themselves and their descendants concerning matters of their fasting and lamenting. So the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim, and it was written in the book.” (Esther 9:29-32)

God is Our Greatest Leader, God is Our Savior, and God is Our Eternal King (Deuteronomy 10:17, Isaiah 43:11-12, and 1 Timothy 1:17). Our God is the God of Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). As believers in God, it is always very important for us, to not take for granted, the salvation that God has provided to all of us through the Lord Jesus Christ, and the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 3:16-17, Acts 1:8, and Acts 2:38). Amen. It is always best for us to seek counsel from God (Psalm 33:11), and for us to seek for God’s wisdom (Proverbs 3:13). God is the giver of good success (Joshua 1:8), and God is always with His people (Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:18-20, and John 14:15-17). It is good to rejoice with God (Philippians 4:4). Amen.
