Daily Devote Yourself to God!

~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

FEBRUARY 17
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 4-6

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.” (Deuteronomy 4:13)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is a covenant keeping God, and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 25:10 and Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how Moses preached to the people of Israel, and gave warnings against idolatry, reviewed and proclaimed the Ten Commandments of God, and also declared the Greatest Commandment to love God. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that the Ten Commandments of God are still valid, sacred, holy, and important today. God still honors and blesses those who keep His Ten Commandments. By the grace of God, as you live your life, allow the Holy Spirit of God to guide and direct you to keep God’s commandments, and you will be blessed by God forevermore. Thank God for His love for all of us! Thank God for His commandments! Thank God for all His blessings in our lives! Amen.

With God All Things Are Possible

Obedience is Our Gift to God

Love is Basic to the Law of God

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:17-19)

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)

FEBRUARY 8
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Numbers 11-13

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward. Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”” (Numbers 12:5-8)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is so awesome (Psalm 47:2), so great, so powerful, so majestic, so compassionate, and full of understanding (Psalm 104:1, Psalm 111:4 and Psalm 147:5). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the seventy elders of Israel that were chosen to lead with Moses, how Aaron and Miriam spoke against Moses and God responded to them, and about the twelve spies that were sent to spy the land of Canaan. As believers in God, it is always important to keep in mind that, our God is always faithful to bless all His people who do His commandments (Psalm 128:1). Therefore, it is always best to have faith in God (Mark 11:22), and to honor God in all our dealings in life (Psalm 96:6), knowing that God is always faithful to bless and honor His people who serve Him (John 12:26 and John 13:17). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and guidance in our lives (Psalm 33:11)! Amen. Thank God for all His blessings in our lives.

JESUS SAID;

“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JANUARY 30
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Leviticus 8-10

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people, and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.” (Leviticus 9:22-24)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is holy (Psalm 99:9), and God requires that His people that draw near to Him are holy as well (1 Peter 1:15-16). In addition, God requires that His people that draw near to Him have the due godly reverence for Him (Hebrews 12:28-29). In today’s study of the Bible, Aaron and his sons were successfully anointed, and effectively consecrated to serve God in priesthood. The first priesthood service and the offerings rendered by Aaron and his sons were accepted by God, and all the people in the congregation were blessed. However, two of Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu made some errors in offering profane fire to God, and were consumed. As believers in God, it is always important to honor God with our service to Him, and to be mindful of the commandments of God. God is love (1 John 4:16), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 25:10). And, it is always important to be mindful of the words of God (Matthew 4:4). Thank God for His word, wisdom, and guidance in our lives! Amen.
