Daily Devote Yourself to God!

~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

APRIL 19
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Chronicles 18-20

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So David reigned over all Israel, and administered judgment and justice to all his people.” (1 Chronicles 18:14)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
God is Our Greatest Leader, God is Our Savior, and God is Our Eternal King (Deuteronomy 10:17, Isaiah 43:11-12, and 1 Timothy 1:17). Our God is the True God (John 17:3). Our God is the Holy God (Psalm 99:9). Our God is the God of Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). Our God is the God of Justice (Isaiah 45:21). Our God provides healing, salvation, protection, restoration, resurrection, and eternal life (1 Kings 17:14, Psalm 103:1-5, John 3:16-17, and John 11:25-26). The counsel of God stands forever (Psalm 33:11). Our God is the God of Justice (Isaiah 45:21), and Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how King David extended His kingdom and made dedications to God, King David and his army defeated the Ammonites and the Syrians in battles, and the Philistines’ giants were slain. King David’s administration included Joab, Jehoshaphat, Zadok, Abimelech or Ahimelech, Seraiah or Shavsha, Benaiah, the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David’s sons (2 Samuel 8:15-18 and 1 Chronicles 18:14-17). It is also important to note that, in today’s study of the Bible, King David showed kindness to Hanun, but Hanun was misinformed. As believers in God, it is always good and important for us to seek counsel from God (Psalm 33:11). God’s leadership supersedes all (1 Timothy 1:17), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Amen. Truly, God loves all people, and God wants to save all the people of the world that will come to Him for eternal salvation (John 3:16-17). If you are not yet saved by God, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved by God. Amen. May God bless you today, everyday, and forevermore in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.” (Luke 12:42-43)

JESUS SAID;
“They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.” (Luke 13:29-30)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

APRIL 3
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Kings 14-17

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Asa did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did his father David. And he banished the perverted persons from the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. Also he removed Maachah his grandmother from being queen mother, because she had made an obscene image of Asherah. And Asa cut down her obscene image and burned it by the Brook Kidron. But the high places were not removed. Nevertheless Asa’s heart was loyal to the LORD all his days.” (1 Kings 15:11-14)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the faithful and covenant keeping God (Psalm 25:10). Our God is the true God (John 17:3), and the eternal King (1 Timothy 1:17). Our God is the God of gods, and our God is the Lord of lords (Deuteronomy 10:17). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about Prophet Ahijah’s prophecy to King Jeroboam, the kingdom reigns of Abijam, Asa, Nadab, Baasha, Elah, Zimri, Omri, and Ahab, and how Prophet Elijah showed God’s power in miracles, wonders, and he raised the Zarephath widow’s son from being sick and dying. As believers in God, it is always important for us to keep in mind that our God is the true God (John 17:3), and it is always essential for us to serve God faithfully (Mark 11:22). In addition, it is always important for us to keep in mind that, our God is the God of provision, and our God is able to restore, replenish, and to multiply our provisions in the seasons of drought (1 Kings 17:14). Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and God is always faithful to bless everyone who keeps His commandments (Psalm 128:1). Thank God for all His blessings in our lives (Psalm 50:14). Amen. Give glory to the Most High God in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

JESUS SAID;
“But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.” (Luke 4:25-26)

JESUS SAID;

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35)
