DAILY BIBLE STUDY: 1 Chronicles 14-17

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD. Then he distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.” (1 Chronicles 16:1-3)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is Holy (Psalm 99:9). Our God is Awesome, Powerful, and Full of Understanding (Psalm 47:2 and Psalm 147:5). Our God is Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). Our God is Gracious (Psalm 103:8). Our God provides justice, correction, and judgment for all peoples and all nations (Psalm 67:3-4, Psalm 94:10, Psalm 105:7, Jeremiah 10:7, and Jeremiah 18:7-10). Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible we read about King David’s victories over the Philistines, how King David brought the Ark of the Covenant of God to Jerusalem with music, dancing, and celebration, King David’s Song of Thanksgiving to God, and about God’s Promise to King David. As believers in God, it is always good and important for us to seek counsel from God (Psalm 33:11). It is good to sing praises to God, and to share the good news of God’s salvation (1 Chronicles 16:23-24). The Lord Jesus Christ is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords (Isaiah 9:7). God loves all people, and God wants to save all the people of the world that will come to Him for eternal salvation (John 3:16-17). God is seeking for all to come to Him in repentance (2 Peter 3:9). FEBRUARY 28
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Joshua 4-6

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’ then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’; for the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever.”” (Joshua 4:21-24)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Awesome God (Psalm 47:2)! With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how the people of Israel cross the River of Jordan on dry land, and twelve memorial stones were taken from the Jordan River as the people of Israel crossed the river, the people of Israel performed circumcision as commanded by God, and they observed the Passover at Gilgal, and we also read about the fall of Jericho. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd (John 10:14), and the Lord Jesus is the Chief Commander of God’s Army (Matthew 25:31-32). Jesus rightly receives worship, because Jesus is the Son of God, and Jesus is also God (John 1:1, John 1:14, and John 3:16-17). Jesus is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords (1 Corinthians 15:57, 1 Timothy 6:14-16, and Revelations 19:16). If you are not yet saved by God, you can make the choice today to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you will be saved by God (John 3:16-17). The guidance that God gives to us stands forever (Psalm 33:11). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding! Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

JESUS SAID;
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.” (John 10:14)
