Daily Devote Yourself to God!

~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

FEBRUARY 28
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Joshua 4-6

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’ then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’; for the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever.”” (Joshua 4:21-24)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Awesome God (Psalm 47:2)! With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how the people of Israel cross the River of Jordan on dry land, and twelve memorial stones were taken from the Jordan River as the people of Israel crossed the river, the people of Israel performed circumcision as commanded by God, and they observed the Passover at Gilgal, and we also read about the fall of Jericho. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd (John 10:14), and the Lord Jesus is the Chief Commander of God’s Army (Matthew 25:31-32). Jesus rightly receives worship, because Jesus is the Son of God, and Jesus is also God (John 1:1, John 1:14, and John 3:16-17). Jesus is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords (1 Corinthians 15:57, 1 Timothy 6:14-16, and Revelations 19:16). If you are not yet saved by God, you can make the choice today to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you will be saved by God (John 3:16-17). The guidance that God gives to us stands forever (Psalm 33:11). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding! Amen.

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

JESUS SAID;
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

JESUS SAID;
“Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.” (John 10:14)

FEBRUARY 21
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 16-18

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“You shall be blameless before the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 18:13)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Awesome God (Psalm 47:2)! Our God is holy (Psalm 99:9), just, fair to all, and the best judge for all people (Deuteronomy 10:17, Psalm 50:6, and Psalm 135:14). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about the three appointed Feasts of God, the various instructions provided to serve and honor God, the provisions to the Levites, and about the prophecy of the New Prophet. As believers in God, it is always important to keep in mind that, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). God is abundantly able to perfect everything that concerns us (Psalm 138:8). Therefore, it is always best to make the choice to trust in God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and God will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep in mind that, it is always good to listen to the instructions and the corrections that God provides to us in life (Proverbs 10:17). Thank God for His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (Psalm 33:11, Psalm 111:10, and Proverbs 3:13)! Thank God for the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ provided for all us (John 3:16-17)! Give glory to the Most High God in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

With God All Things Are Possible

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

JESUS SAID;
“If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” (Matthew 19:21)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:1-4)

JESUS SAID;
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” (John 17:20-23)

FEBRUARY 7
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Numbers 8-10

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying: “Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.”” (Numbers 9:1-2)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is holy (Psalm 99:9), and God loves all His people so very much and wants to save all of them (John 3:16-17). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about God’s instructions to Moses, Aaron, and the people of Israel, to light the lampstand of the tabernacle, to cleanse the Levites, to keep the feast of Passover, to prepare trumpets for sounding directions, and to prepare all the people for the journey to the land of Canaan. The Passover is a very important feast to God, and it is also symbolic of the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ provided for all of us (John 3:16-17). The Lord Jesus Christ established the Lord’s Supper and the Holy Communion during the Passover celebration in His time (Luke 22:14-19). Thank God for the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ provided for all of us! Amen.

Be Born Again

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” (Luke 22:19)

JESUS SAID;
“Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:46-47)

JESUS SAID;
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

JESUS SAID;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Leviticus 21-23

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So Moses declared to the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.” (Leviticus 23:44)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is a Great and Awesome God! It is such a wonderful and joyful experience to praise God and to behold God and His glory (Psalm 48:1-2)! In today’s study of the Bible, we read about God’s requirements for the holiness of the priests and the holiness of the offerings to God, and as well as the feasts of God. Based on the Bible, the regular feasts of God include, the Sabbaths, Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, New Grain or Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles (Leviticus 23). As believers in God, it is always important to maintain holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16), and to always rejoice in God (Philippians 4:4). Thank God for all His blessings in our lives! Amen.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

JESUS SAID;
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” (John 3:5-7)

JESUS SAID;

JANUARY 19
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Exodus 11-13

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. ‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.’” (Exodus 12:13-14)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is a Covenant Keeping God. Thank God for His faithfulness. Amen. In today’s study of the Bible, as God promised, at the appointed time and with a mighty hand, God freed and brought out the people of Israel from the land of Egypt. God established the Passover as a sign to spare the people of Israel from the plague. Symbolically, the Passover lambs that were sacrificed during the days of Moses, were also pointing to the eternal Passover sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ would later provide. Therefore today, in a similar manner, God has already made the access to an eternal Passover available to everyone on Earth, through the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ provided (Matthew 26:26-28), in order to spare all who will seek salvation from eternal condemnation. Consequently, now by the blood and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, everyone can come to God for forgiveness of sins and for eternal salvation.

JESUS SAID;

“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.” (Mark 13:24-27)
