MAY 4
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Ezra 1-3

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.” (Ezra 3:10-11)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is the Faithful and Covenant Keeping God (Psalm 25:10). Our God is the God of Love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18). Our God is the Holy God (Psalm 99:9). Our God is the God of Justice (Isaiah 45:21). Our God is the Eternal and Glorious King (1 Timothy 1:17). Our God is Gracious and Full of Compassion (Psalm 103:8 and Psalm 111:4). Our God is good to all people (Psalm 145:9), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 128:1). Amen. In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how God brought back the former captives of Judah, through the fulfillment of the prophecy of God by Prophet Jeremiah (Ezra 1:1), the writings and the sayings of Cyrus King of Persia, for the people of Judah to return back to Jerusalem, the Census of the people who returned to Jerusalem, and how worship was restored to God. As believers in God, it is always good and important for us to keep in mind that, our God is the faithful and covenant keep God (Psalm 25:10), and that God is always faithful to fulfill all His promises (Psalm 18:30). It is good to sing praises to God, and to thank God for all His blessings in our lives (Psalm 47:6-7 and Psalm 50:14). Amen. It is good to rejoice with God (Psalm 89:15-16). Amen. God loves all people, and God wants to save all the people of the world that will come to Him for eternal salvation (John 3:16-17). If you are not yet saved by God, repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved by God. Amen. May God bless you always in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

JESUS SAID;
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

JESUS SAID;

FEBRUARY 19
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 10-12

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 10:17-19)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is love (1 John 4:16 and 1 John 4:18), God loves all people, and God wants to save all who will come to Him for salvation (John 3:16-17). God is just and fair to all, and God is not partial to anyone (Deuteronomy 10:17-19). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how the second pair of the Ten Commandments of God was recorded, Moses shared the messages of God about the blessings that will come to the people of Israel as they live in obedience to God, and also shared the truth that a place of worship is where God chooses to put His name. As believers in God, it is always important to keep in mind the key messages of love covered in today’s study of the Bible. That is, pertaining to the Greatest Commandments of God, to love God, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Deuteronomy 10:17-19 and Matthew 22:37-40). And in addition, as believers in God, it is always important to reverence God, to serve God, to worship God, to honor God, to obey God, and to praise God (Deuteronomy 10:20-21, Deuteronomy 11:1, and Psalm 34:1). God is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works (Psalm 145:9). Our God is so awesome! Thank God for all His blessings in our lives! Amen.

JESUS SAID;
“Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

FEBRUARY 17
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Deuteronomy 4-6

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.” (Deuteronomy 4:13)

REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is a covenant keeping God, and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 25:10 and Psalm 128:1). In today’s study of the Bible, we read about how Moses preached to the people of Israel, and gave warnings against idolatry, reviewed and proclaimed the Ten Commandments of God, and also declared the Greatest Commandment to love God. As believers in God, it is always good to keep in mind that the Ten Commandments of God are still valid, sacred, holy, and important today. God still honors and blesses those who keep His Ten Commandments. By the grace of God, as you live your life, allow the Holy Spirit of God to guide and direct you to keep God’s commandments, and you will be blessed by God forevermore. Thank God for His love for all of us! Thank God for His commandments! Thank God for all His blessings in our lives! Amen.

With God All Things Are Possible

Obedience is Our Gift to God

Love is Basic to the Law of God

WORDS OF JESUS:

JESUS SAID;
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:17-19)

JESUS SAID;
“‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

JESUS SAID;
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

JESUS SAID;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
