JESUS LOVES YOU TODAY! AMEN! DAILY DEVOTE YOURSELF TO GOD! AMEN!
~ RISE AND SHINE TO GOD’S GLORY! AMEN! PRAY THE LORD’S PRAYER! ~ JESUS SAID; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:9-13)
DAILY BIBLE STUDY: Leviticus 8-10
VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people, and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.” (Leviticus 9:22-24)
REFLECTION NOTES AND LESSONS LEARNED:
Our God is holy (Psalm 99:9), and God requires that His people that draw near to Him are holy as well (1 Peter 1:15-16). In addition, God requires that His people that draw near to Him have the due godly reverence for Him (Hebrews 12:28-29). In today’s study of the Bible, Aaron and his sons were successfully anointed, and effectively consecrated to serve God in priesthood. The first priesthood service and the offerings rendered by Aaron and his sons were accepted by God, and all the people in the congregation were blessed. However, two of Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu made some errors in offering profane fire to God, and were consumed. As believers in God, it is always important to honor God with our service to Him, and to be mindful of the commandments of God. God is love (1 John 4:16), and God is always faithful to bless all His people who keep His commandments (Psalm 25:10). And, it is always important to be mindful of the words of God (Matthew 4:4). Thank God for His word, wisdom, and guidance in our lives! Amen.
WORDS OF JESUS:
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)
“Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” (Matthew 22:21)
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24)
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
