Jesus Saves! Jesus Saves!
[Jesus Said], “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.(Matthew 28:19-20)
Our approach to evangelism is simply to follow the commands of Jesus and to go where he sends us.
[Jesus Said], “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
God loves all the people of the world so much and does not want anyone to perish! However, the bible also tells us that all people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that the wages of Sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. (See Romans 6:23), and also (See Romans 3:23-26).
The good news is that God has provided the way for people to be saved and Jesus Christ is the Way. God provided the way for all people to be saved. He sent Jesus to all of us, and Jesus Christ is the Way.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!
The clear truth is that without believing in Jesus Christ – the Son of God, we would have all perished. Meaning, without Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He provided for us, we would have had to face God’s judgment and that would have meant eternity in Hell, because none of us (human beings) was able to keep God’s commandments perfectly in order to save ourselves (due to the fall of our first earthly father and mother, Adam and Eve, See Genesis 3). However, by believing in Jesus Christ and through the sacrifice He provided for us, we can now gain eternal life with God here on earth and in Heaven. (See John 3:16 and John 14:1-3).
Jesus is Our Mediator
The bible tells us that, anyone may come to Jesus Christ and receive salvation by confessing to Him, repenting genuinely in our hearts, believing God and surrendering our lives to Jesus.
This means letting Jesus become our personal Lord and Savior, and for us to live a life that is above sin through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit! Meaning, we no longer surrender our lives to sin anymore but we are determined to do God’s will through the grace and strength provided to us through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
The bible tells us: “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (See Romans 10:9-10).
God has provided the way to save all people and that way is Jesus Christ. Jesus brings salvation and so many blessings into our lives. With Jesus, there is everlasting love, joy, peace, life, and so many other innumerable blessings.
We should keep in mind that, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance,” (See 2 Peter 3:9).
GOD IS GOOD TO ALL PEOPLE
God is good to all. “The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.” (See Psalm 145:9). And, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (See Hebrews 13:8). Indeed, the truth is that we all need the Salvation of God, and we all need the Lord Jesus Christ. So, if you are not yet saved by God, make the choice today to receive the Salvation of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. (See the next sub-page for more information -->)
Jesus Saves! Jesus Saves!
[Jesus Said], “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8),
and
[Jesus Said], “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:24).
When it comes to praying the sinner's prayer, the same principles Jesus spoke about apply. We encourage everyone to truly ask God for forgiveness of their sins and to truly believe that they are forgiven. It is really important to believe God on his word and to truly repent from sinning. The Sinner’s Prayer can really be your own personal prayer to God in your own words but, here is a sample prayer you can use:
“Dear God, I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is your Son and that He came to Earth and died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins, and that He arose again to live forever. Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart and become my Personal Lord and Savior. Write my name in the Book of Life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for the Sacrifice that you provided for me. So I decare that, "From now on, I am Born Again, and I will live my life for God, in Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!”
What it means to be Born Again.
In John 3:3, "Jesus Answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”"
In John 3:5, "Jesus Answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." And,
In John 3:6-7, [Jesus Said], "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’"
Be Born Again
If you have truly prayed the sinner's prayer or your own personal repentance prayer to God, and have truly meant it, then Praise be to God! Thank God! Amen! By the grace of God, you are ‘Born Again’ and 'Saved' by God, by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Welcome to the Family of God’s Faithful People!
As a new born in the gospel of Jesus Christ, you should really (we highly recommend as a loving reminder) seek to read, study, and understand God’s Word – the bible, in order to feed your soul, body, mind, and your spirit.
As much as possible, you should get baptized by water (we recommend this because Jesus did it in His lifetime on earth to show us an example and as much as possible – Jesus wants His disciples to be baptized as well – See Mark 1:9-11 and Matthew 28:19-20).
Also, according to God’s will and timing, continue to pray and Jesus will sanctify you (See John 17:17) and baptize you with the Holy Spirit (See Mark 1:8).
As a Born Again Child of God, we no longer desire to sin and we no longer will it or intend it in our hearts to purposely sin against God (See John 3:5-7, 1 John 3:4-12, 1 John 5:18-21, 1 John 5:1-5, and 1 Peter 1:22-25), but if the Holy Spirit points out a sin in our life, we must quickly repent and forsake that sin immediately or as soon as possible.
God is Holy and He wants us to live Holy, be Holy, and to remain Holy as well (See 1 Peter 1:15-16). And, the point is that while we are in this world we are still getting trials and temptations but we overcome them with the power of God through the Holy Spirit and the grace of Jesus Christ.
Always remember that Jesus Christ overcame the world already. We rely on and are clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ because His righteousness is perfect, and we live according to God’s will out of love for God and in obedience to God. Amen.
There’s More. God promises to reward us for our obedience to His commands. (See Matthew 16:27, Matthew 5:12, and Matthew 6:4). Of course, the overall objective of the born-again child of God is to love God and to keep His commandments as part of His family. (See Romans 8:16). Also, as a newly born-again Christian (as well as other born-again Christians), it is very helpful to continue to pray earnestly (as often as possible), read your bible (as much as possible), and sing and/or listen to spiritual songs (praise and worship) like the hymns and psalms, so that you can continue to grow. It is also helpful to meet and fellowship with other born-again Christians. (We love you as Jesus commands – See John 15:12-16). So we recommend finding a good church where the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached from the bible.
Then, What’s Next? Very Exciting … We (ALL BELIEVERS or the body of Christ) live by God's grace, victorious lives through fellowship with Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit. We live by faith every day (See Hebrews 10:38a) and we await the Second Coming of Jesus Christ or Rapture. (See John 14:1-3 and 1 Thessalonians 4:17), and/or we will meet Him at the end of our time here. (See John 8:51 and 2 Corinthians 5:5-11), but He is always with us.(See Matthew 28:19-20).
Helpful Resources. Keep in Mind God’s Commandments. (See Exodus 20:3-17, Mark 12:30-31, Luke 9:23, John 13:34, and 1 John 3:21-23), be led and guided by God’s Spirit. (See Romans 8:14), and you should (we lovingly remind) continue to read and study the scriptures for additional guidelines. By God's grace, Heaven Awaits Us! (ALL Born-Again Believers – See John 3:3). May God greatly bless you!
Love Always,
Jesus Loves You Today, Everyday, and Forevermore! Amen!
